Update on knee injury ....
I injured my knee over a week ago, vacuuming and I am still minimal weight on my knee - MRI showed tear to meniscus and some fluid on the knee....such a crazy thing as a result of vacuuming .... I got a steroid shot in the knee and will need to take it slow for a bit, which will also include some physical therapy. Praying that this works and I won't need surgery until sometime later down the road.... sad that I am unable to do much of anything in the shop that requires standing and minimal stairs.... as a result the shop will remain closed for a few weeks and we will reopen on November 1st .... please text, call or email if you have questions or need anything and I will do my best to accommodate .... Sorry for the shop being closed due to injury issues .... I have been cleared to make a trip out east so I can see my mom, who is not doing good and is in a facility - praying for a nice visit with her.
We are trying to keep up with all orders and door prizes from the All Illinois Shop Hop so we don't fall too far behind. All commission job clients have been notified if this closure delays their jobs a bit. I promise a nice "SALE" starting on November 1st when we reopen to ease the pain of our temporary closure. Sorry for the shop being closed .... some things I just can't control.
Retired Sample Sale
November 10th and 11th, 2023

Our Sample Sale will be a great opportunity to get some wonderful items for upcoming gifts or just for yourself ... and it's a chance for me to clear the way for upcoming new samples. Samples can be purchased in the shop and will be first come first served as most items are one of a kind.
Samples include completed items (quilted and bound runner/toppers/quilts, etc.) while some items are just tops. None have ever been personally used - only displayed in pet/smoking free shop environment.... you can also schedule a special appointment to look through what is left here in the shop after the sale dates. All samples will be cash/check sales only - All sales are final. Please feel free to call/text or email with questions or further information.

The Christmas Butterfly Pattern and Kits will be available soon ... pattern instructions makes 12 and kits will include fabric and all supplies to make 12 - great for hanging, attaching to gifts and any other ideas you may have..... kits will be available in fabrics for Christmas, Winter, Spring, etc.
Custom Shoe Lace Pattern/Kits with Metal Aglet Tips will be available soon - make custom shoe laces for all your family and friends to give as gifts or just for fun shoe lace updates...scrap fabric strips go a looooong way.... these are so easy and fast to make ...
