4 yr. old Daughter of Dixie T.

"We met briefly at the Shipshewana quilt show in Indiana on June 24.  My 4 year old daughter was
choosing a fat quarter for the quilt we would make together while visiting Grandma.  You were so
generous to allow her to pick out a free fat quarter with the stipulation that we send you a photo
of the finished quilt.   I chose the basic pattern for the quilt.  My daughter decided on fabric placement.
She traced and cut most of the squares, and pinned squares and rows together.  I did the machine
sewing and quilting.  When we were finished, my daughter decided this quilt would be her gift to
the baby my husband and I are expecting at the end of August.  The striped fabric was my daughter’s
free choice.  I believe the dots in the corners also came from your booth.  The other cute little girl in
the photo is my 3 year old who provided moral support and encouragement.   Thank you again for the
gift of fabric.  Your generosity made an impression on her."    GREAT JOB MOM and DAUGHTER....  A new
quilting friend has arrived on the scene!!!!
